Cinnamon spiced stewed apple protein pancake

Ingredients

4 cooking apples

Optimum Nutrition Protein Pancake Mix

Fage Natural Yogurt

Cinnamon spice powder

Method

Prepare protein pancake using pancake mix by Optimum Nutrition

Prepare stewed apple by peeling and chopping cooking apples into slices

Place chopped apples into a pan and cover with 400ml of boiling water

Bring to boil and then simmer for 10-15 mins

Stir and keep an eye on the pan to add more boiling water as necessary

Add 2 Tbsp cinnamon powder as the stewed apple is cooking

 

Serve up pancake with stewed apple and natural Fage yogurt

Sprinkle with walnuts
