Easter is fast approaching & to celebrate I wanted to share one of new favourite protein snacks with you all.
Packed full of avocado and chocolate, two of my favourite ingredients, this really is delicious & relatively guilt free.
For me, it's the perfect post workout, high protein snack.
Prep Time: 5 mins
2 frozen avocado halves from Iceland
1/2 cup almond milk
1 Tbsp vanilla extract
1 serving of optimum nutrition chocolate whey protein (gold standard)
1/2 cup milk chocolate chips, or chocolate of your choice
3 Tbsp honey
1. melt chocolate in a pan
2. place all ingredients into a blender
3. blend for a few minutes
To thicken the consistency, add more protein powder
4. Serve with a sprinkle of honeycomb & chocolate eggs for the perfect easter treat
It really is as simple as that!
